The Role
Are you passionate about interior design trends and creating inspiring lifestyle experiences? Do you love turning moods, styles, and real-world aesthetics into engaging content? ✨
We’re Superbloom Games, the studio behind Venue, a live interior design mobile game. We are looking for a Associate Interior Content Designer to join our team.
This is an exciting hybrid role where you get to use your creative muscle while learning how to work in a live production environment. You won’t just be designing concepts, you will see your content go live to be enjoyed by millions of players.
What You’ll Do
- Curate & Design: Create interior design content by building mood boards, sourcing furniture/material references, and defining themes for in-game events.
- LiveOps Execution: You will manage the content configuration spreadsheets that drive our LiveOps, ensuring the right items appear in the right events at the right time.
- Bridge Art & Game: Collaborate with the Art and Product team to translate real-world trends into balanced game content that fits our economy.
- Quality Assurance: QA your events in-game to ensure the visual quality matches your original mood board and the player experience is frictionless.
- Trend Spotting: Act as the studio’s "Design Eye," sharing knowledge about interior styles (e.g., Japandi, Mid-Century Modern) with the wider team to keep our content fresh.
What You Bring
- Creative Background: You have studies or professional experience in interior design, graphic design, architecture, or a related visual field. We value a strong portfolio and "the eye" over specific game industry experience.
- Visual Taste: Excellent eye for color palettes, furniture styles, textures, and composition. You can tell a story through a room.
- Operational Mindset: You are organized and meticulous. You are comfortable working in Google Sheets/Excel to manage data and don't mind the technical/administrative side of content creation.
- Communication: You can articulate why a design works and give clear feedback to artists and designers in English.
